Access Channel
Access Channel
The Access Channel (AC (1)) is a reverse CDMA (Code Division Multiple Access) Channel used by MS (Mobile Station) for communicating to the BS (Base Station). The Access Channel is used for short signalling message exchanges such as call originations or responses to pages, and registrations. The Access Channel is a slotted random access channel.
