AirSnort
AirSnort
AirSnort is a Wi-Fi (Wireless Fidelity) tool which recovers encryption keys from IEEE 802.11b networks utilizing WEP (Wired Equivalent Privacy). AirSnort operates by passively monitoring transmissions and computing the encryption key when enough packets have been gathered. Typically, this can be achieved after 100Mb to 1Gb of traffic has been received.
