AK
Authorization Key
In the case of WiMAX, the AK is passed to the WiMAX Base Station from the ASN during the PKMv2 (Privacy Key Management version 2) procedure. The Base Station uses AK to generate the TEK (Traffic Encryption Key). The term AK is also prevalent in a number of other technologies.
