Assured Mode
Assured Mode incorporates reliable delivery mechanisms to ensure a PDU (Protocol Data Unit) will be delivered to the peer entity. A PDU sent in assured mode is retransmitted by the LAC (Link Access Control) sublayer, and uses acknowledgements to confirm delivery.
