EF
Expedited Forwarding
EF is a forwarding policy defined within the DiffServ (Differentiated Services) architecture. It provides packets within a given stream a minimum departure rate. As long as the application does not present packets to the network at a rate greater than the agreed minimum departure rate, these packets will not be queued within the network and so should not suffer undue delay.
