The BT 21 CN initiative is in the vanguard of the change all fixed-line operators are making towards an IP-based network, as defined by the ETSI TISPAN architectural framework. The implications for BT, for other competing operators, and for their customers are tremendous, since this infrastructure change will affect products, services, organizations, processes, systems and networks over the next several years. This course gives a comprehensive introduction to the architecture of BT 21CN, to its key technologies, and to the likely migration of networks and services over the next several years.
