Telecommunications networks are in a period of rapid change following the downturn of the early 2000's; traditional PSTN and mobile voice services remain important; major network renewal programmes such as BT21CN are underway; new applications and services are being enabled by broadband Internet access; M&A activity and consolidation continues to create integration with media and content. This course gives a comprehensive introduction to all aspects of fixed and mobile telecoms networks and services.
