Outline and Objectives:
As Service Providers and other players in the telecoms industry value chain deploy or provide support for Next Generation Networks (NGNs) and seek to leverage these to deliver more sophisticated services and more effective implementation, there is a need to radically change the processes, systems and information models used to in the OSS and BSS spaces. The dominant architectures are defined by the TM Forum, and this course introduces the main concepts and methods based on best practices to adopt and understand the various NGOSS frameworks i.e. eTOM, SID, TAM and TNA.
