Presence Server
Presence is an indication that a user is available to partake in a session. The Presence Server coordinates this information and makes it available to POC users. Presence is normally a function of user registration through the SIP Core. Consequently, the POC Server and the Presence Server interact in order to maintain the currency of the database.
