Unstructured Supplementary Service Data
The USSD (Unstructured Supplementary Service Data) mechanism allows the MS (Mobile Station) user and a PLMN (Public Land Mobile Network) operator defined application to communicate in a way which is transparent to the MS and to intermediate network entities.
