WECA
Wireless Ethernet Compatibility Alliance
The WECA was formed by 3Com, Aironet (now Cisco) Harris Semiconductor (now Intersil), Lucent Technologies (now Agere), Nokia and Symbol Technologies in August 1999. It was renamed the Wi-Fi Alliance in October 2002.
