Wireless Fidelity
Wi-Fi is an interoperability standard developed by WECA (Wireless Ethernet Compatibility Alliance) and issued to those manufacturers whose IEEE 802.11a and 802, 11b equipment has passed a suite of basic interoperability tests. Equipment passing these tests carries the Wi-Fi logo.
